recent happenings
Well, I did the job for my mother, which quickly turned into two jobs. The first workday was Saturday morning at 8:30 am. I helped rake a foot of leaves on her expansive yard, fill up this enormous bags with them, and drag them around for about 8 hours. During that time I also helped on some cleanup duties, like pressure spraying the pool deck to remove stains from the wood and furniture. Because of how well I did the job, I got the opportunity to help clean up the next day at 9:30 am. I arrive, start helping my mother's husband cut up and drag away gigantic tree limbs (and even the bulk of a tree, which probably weighed around 100+ pounds, but since I'm so strong I managed to pick that up and haul it away all by myself). Afterwards, I assist in raking up the remanding leaves around her plant garden, and rearrange the furniture on her deck. Everything took 5 hours that day. Besides the leaves raking, nothing remarkably worthwhile was done, but they enjoy doing it and pay me for my efforts, so it's all good. I earned a total of 90 dollars, which I promptly put towards an optical mouse and a copy of Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land for the Ps2, which i have been playing in conjunction with Kings Field IV the past week.

Also, I went with my friend Adam yesterday to go apply for a job at K-Mart. He already got a job, but just needed to get a work permit because he's under 18 (a foolish concept that only wastes time since anyone is pretty much applicable for a job). Anyway, we were originally going to ride bikes to go get one then go to K-mart, but instead Adam called a friend named Dennis (not the one I might have mentioned before in these entries) and he drove us. I noticed that he had a sticker with a tribal print on the back window. It said "Soulja of Misfortune", which I recognized from another car. Eventually we stopped in a parking lot at the mall and Dennis wanted to go purchase shoes before bringing us. He goes with his grandmother to buy them and while I wait in the car with Adam, he digs through the guys Cd collection. He had this black binder thing with sleeves for CDs, and -I shit you not- just about every single available slot had a different rap cd, and all together there was like 100 something slots. I was both impressed and disgusted by the collection, but then adam takes out this one cd and plays it. To my surprise, it was Dennis and some other guys rapping... and when compared to the other cds quality, they were doing it quite professionally too. I ask how he made it, and he told me that they know this guy named Steve who owns several pieces of audio mastering equipment and whatnot. I then started to talk about how I'd like to know what's involved in composing these irregular breakbeats that you find so often in rap music, and he said that the beats in these self-published cds were done with Fruityloops, which you can find at Fruityloops.com . I've known about Fruityloops for awhile now, and so this came off as being incredibly neat to me. Because of this, I plan to try it out soon, and see what I can compose. It'll also allow me to fully flesh out my 'Novawodie' persona that I created when assisting in that post harlock made... you all know what I mean ;O). Anyway, this all relates to that sign I seen in his back window. They formed a sort of hobbyist rap group, which is pretty interesting. There songs had actual content, which is nice. No sophisticated principles of heroic living, but the basic ideology behind it is good, which consisted of enjoying life and avoiding death. A bit strange for such a genere, but I enjoyed it nonetheless for how it was presented.

Adam eventually got his permit, and I filled out an application. I didn't get to complete my past employee information, but hopefully that won't matter as the manager told me and Adam to return at 10:30 this morning, which I did. Adam had to walk cause he had no ride or a bike hawhaw but now we gutta return tomorrow morning at 9:30 to star wurk or sumpthin ;P;P

I plan to check out fruityloops, and let you all know what comes out of it and my efforts.

Let's see... I got to finish the fanart for Heretic. I should do that today... I also might start a review for Wizardry.

dunno what else to say. eh :\
